WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Fungal infections of the skin such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch
• Oral thrush (fungal infection of the mouth)
• Vaginal yeast infections
• Fungal nappy rash in infants

HOW IT WORKS

• Miconazole damages the cell membrane of fungi
• This stops the fungus from growing and spreading
• It gradually clears the infection with regular use

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Bacterial infections
• Viral infections such as cold sores or warts
• Allergic skin rashes not caused by fungus
• Prevention of fungal infections without a doctor's advice

How to Use ZOLE OINTMENT (Miconazole 2%)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor
• Wash and dry the area before applying
• Apply a thin layer and gently rub in, unless told otherwise
• Wash hands after application unless the hands are being treated
• Continue for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the container tightly closed
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
