How to Use Alcaftadine 0.25% W/V

HOW TO TAKE IT

  • Wash your hands before using the eye drop
  • Tilt your head back slightly and pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket
  • Instil one drop into the affected eye(s) as advised by your doctor, usually once a day
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface to prevent contamination
  • Close your eyes gently for a minute after applying to help the drop spread evenly
  • If you wear contact lenses, remove them before use and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

  • Apply the missed drop as soon as you remember
  • If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
  • Do not apply two drops together to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

  • Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
  • Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use
