WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

  • Mild to moderate acne (pimples, blackheads, whiteheads)
  • Acne on the face, chest, back and shoulders
  • Sometimes used with other acne treatments for better results

HOW IT WORKS

  • Releases oxygen into the pores, which kills acne-causing bacteria
  • Helps remove excess oil and dead skin cells that block pores
  • Has a mild peeling (keratolytic) action that helps open clogged pores

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

  • Not used for deep cystic acne alone without other treatment
  • Not effective for fungal skin infections
  • Not meant for wounds, burns or eczema

How to Use Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5%

HOW TO TAKE IT

  • For external use on skin only, as prescribed by your doctor
  • Wash and dry the affected area gently before applying
  • Apply a thin layer over the affected area, avoiding eyes, lips and inside of nose
  • Wash hands after applying, unless hands are the treated area
  • Use sunscreen during the day as this medicine can increase sun sensitivity
  • Do not apply on broken, sunburnt or irritated skin
  • Continue using regularly for as long as advised, even if improvement is slow

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

  • Apply as soon as you remember
  • If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
  • Do not apply extra or more frequently to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

  • Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
  • Keep the cap tightly closed
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
