WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Eczema and atopic dermatitis
• Contact dermatitis and allergic skin reactions
• Psoriasis patches (as advised by doctor)
• Itchy, inflamed, weeping or oozing skin lesions

HOW IT WORKS

• Betamethasone is a steroid that reduces inflammation, redness, swelling and itching by suppressing the local immune response
• Zinc sulfate has mild astringent action that helps dry out weepy skin and supports healing
• Together they calm irritated skin and reduce discomfort

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for acne, fungal infections, or viral skin infections like chickenpox or herpes
• Not for use on open wounds or deep cuts
• Not for long-term daily use without medical supervision
• Not a treatment for the underlying cause of chronic skin disease, only for symptom control

How to Use Betamethasone 0.05% + Zinc Sulfate 0.5%

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only on the skin as advised by your doctor, not for eyes, mouth or internal use
• Wash and dry the affected area gently before application
• Apply a thin layer and rub in gently, usually once or twice a day as prescribed
• Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the treated area
• Do not cover the area with airtight bandages unless your doctor tells you to
• Use for the exact duration advised; do not stop early or continue longer than prescribed

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the cap tightly closed after use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

• Stretch marks with long-term use on same area

• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips or throat
• Signs of skin infection such as pus, increasing pain or fever
• Severe skin thinning, easy bruising or visible blood vessels
• Signs of steroid absorption into the body such as unusual weight gain, weakness or mood changes with long-term use

• Have acne or rosacea on the area to be treated
