How to Use Biphasic Isophane Insulin 30/70

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Inject under the skin (subcutaneously) in the thigh, abdomen, buttock, or upper arm, as directed by your doctor
• Take it shortly before a meal, usually breakfast and/or dinner, exactly as prescribed
• Rotate the injection site each time to avoid skin problems
• Mix the insulin gently by rolling the pen or vial between your palms before use, do not shake vigorously

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember if it is close to the usual meal time

STORAGE

• Store unopened insulin in a refrigerator between 2-8°C, do not freeze
