WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

  • Lowering raised eye pressure in open-angle glaucoma
  • Managing ocular hypertension
  • Used alone or along with other eye pressure-lowering drops as advised by the doctor

HOW IT WORKS

  • It reduces the production of fluid (aqueous humour) inside the eye
  • It also helps increase the outflow of this fluid from the eye
  • Together this lowers the pressure inside the eye, protecting the optic nerve

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

  • It is not used to treat eye infections
  • It is not a treatment for eye redness caused by allergy or irritation
  • It does not treat cataracts or improve vision directly

How to Use Brimonidine Tartrate 0.15W/V

HOW TO TAKE IT

  • Use only in the eye, as prescribed by your doctor
  • Wash your hands before applying the drop
  • Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and place the drop inside
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface
  • If using other eye drops, wait at least 5-10 minutes between different drops
  • Do not stop using without consulting your doctor, even if symptoms improve

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

  • Apply the missed drop as soon as you remember
  • If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
  • Do not apply two drops together to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

  • Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
  • Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use
  • Do not use after the printed expiry date
