How to Use Buprenorphine (10mcg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take or apply this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the form given (patch, sublingual tablet, or injection)
• If using a patch, apply it to clean, dry, non-hairy skin and rotate the site each time
• If it is a sublingual tablet, let it dissolve under the tongue; do not chew or swallow it whole
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms
• Do not change the dose or frequency on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take or apply it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture
