WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of abdominal colic and cramping pain
• Pain due to spasms of the intestines
• Pain due to spasms of the urinary tract, such as in kidney or bladder colic
• Menstrual cramps caused by uterine spasm

HOW IT WORKS

• It relaxes the smooth muscles found in the walls of the stomach, intestines, and urinary/genital tract
• This reduces the muscle spasm that is causing the pain
• It does not treat the underlying cause of the spasm, only the pain from it

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a general painkiller for headaches, muscle sprains, or joint pain
• It does not treat infections, ulcers, or the underlying disease causing the spasm
• It should not be used as a first choice without medical advice for severe or persistent abdominal pain, as this may need proper diagnosis first

How to Use Camylofin (20mg/ml)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• It can usually be taken with or without food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless instructed
• Do not increase the dose or use it for longer than advised, even if pain persists
