Camylofin is mainly used to treat pain caused by spasms of the smooth muscles in the abdominal and pelvic organs.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief from stomach pain due to spasms
• Relief from intestinal colic
• Relief from painful menstrual cramps
• Relief from spasm-related pain in the urinary tract

HOW IT WORKS

• It relaxes the smooth muscles present in the walls of the stomach, intestine, and urinary and genital tracts
• This reduces the abnormal muscle contractions (spasms) that cause pain
• It does not treat the underlying cause of the spasm, only the pain from it

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a painkiller for headaches or muscle/joint pain
• It is not used to treat infections
• It is not meant for long-term or regular use without medical supervision
• It does not cure conditions like ulcers or gallstones that may be causing the spasm

How to Use Camylofin (25mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• It can usually be taken with or without food, but follow your doctor's advice
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
• Do not increase the dose or take it more often than prescribed
• Do not use it for longer than advised by your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
