HOW IT WORKS

• Carboxymethylcellulose is a lubricant that mimics natural tears
• It coats the surface of the eye with a thin protective film
• This film holds moisture and reduces friction from blinking

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used to treat eye infections

How to Use Carboxymethylcellulose 1.0%

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Wash your hands before using the drops
• Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid gently
• Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s) as advised by your doctor
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface
• Close your eyes gently for a minute after applying
• If using other eye drops, wait at least a few minutes between different medicines
• Remove contact lenses before use unless your doctor says otherwise

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Use it as soon as you remember
• If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not use extra drops to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat
• Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use
• Do not use after the bottle has been open for the period mentioned on the label
• Keep out of reach of children
