Cinitapride is used to treat digestive problems related to slow movement of food through the stomach and intestines.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of bloating, fullness, and early feeling of being full after meals
• Treatment of indigestion (dyspepsia)
• Relief of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) such as heartburn and regurgitation
• Helping food move faster through the stomach in people with delayed stomach emptying

HOW IT WORKS

• It increases the movement (motility) of the stomach and intestinal muscles
• It helps the stomach empty its contents faster into the intestine
• It strengthens the lower esophageal muscle, reducing acid reflux into the food pipe

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a painkiller and does not treat stomach ulcers directly
• It is not used for infections causing diarrhea or vomiting
• It is not meant for long-term weight loss or appetite control
• It should not be used as a substitute for lifestyle and dietary changes in acid reflux

How to Use Cinitapride 3mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken before meals, as directed
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water

• Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own

IF YOU MISS A DOSE
