WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Fungal skin infections like ringworm, athlete's foot, and yeast infections with bacterial involvement
• Infected eczema or dermatitis
• Ear infections involving both fungus and bacteria (otitis externa)
• Skin fold infections that are prone to mixed infections

HOW IT WORKS

• Clotrimazole works by damaging the fungal cell membrane, stopping the fungus from growing and spreading
• Neomycin Sulfate works by stopping bacteria from making proteins they need to survive, which kills the bacteria
• Together they treat infections where both fungus and bacteria are present

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for viral infections like cold sores or chickenpox
• Not meant for internal use or swallowing
• Not for eye infections unless specifically prescribed
• Not a treatment for acne or non-infectious skin conditions

How to Use Clotrimazole I.P. + Neomycin Sulfate I.P.

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only on the skin or as advised by your doctor, do not swallow
• Clean and dry the affected area before applying
• Apply a thin layer as directed by your doctor, usually a few times a day
• Wash your hands before and after applying, unless the hands are the area being treated
• Continue using for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve early
• Do not cover the area tightly unless told to do so

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the cap tightly closed after use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, or throat
• Difficulty breathing
• Severe skin blistering or peeling
• Hearing changes or ringing in the ears if used near the ear for long periods
• Signs of worsening infection despite use
