HOW TO TAKE IT

• Continue taking it even if you feel well, unless your doctor tells you to stop

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Signs of lactic acidosis such as severe tiredness, muscle pain, trouble breathing, or fast heartbeat
• Severe dehydration or fainting

• Severe urinary or genital infection with fever
• Yellowing of skin or eyes (signs of liver problems)
• Severe allergic reaction such as swelling of face, lips or throat, or difficulty breathing
