• Anaemia caused by certain chemotherapy medicines used to treat cancer

HOW IT WORKS

• More red blood cells help carry more oxygen around the body, reducing tiredness and breathlessness caused by anaemia

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used for anaemia caused by iron, vitamin B12, or folate deficiency unless these are also corrected

• Very high blood pressure with severe headache or blurred vision
