WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Prevention of pregnancy (oral contraception)

HOW IT WORKS

• Prevents the ovaries from releasing an egg (ovulation)

How to Use Desogestrel 0.15mg + Ethinylestradiol 0.03mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually one tablet daily at the same time each day
• Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food
• Follow the pack instructions regarding the order of tablets if it is a multi-tablet strip
• Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well, to maintain effectiveness
• Do not stop or change the dose without consulting your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it has been many hours since your usual time, check the pack leaflet or ask your doctor/pharmacist about the need for extra contraceptive precautions
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one unless advised
• Use a backup contraceptive method if you are unsure about missed dose protection

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not store in the bathroom or near heat sources

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
