This medicine is mainly used to treat abdominal (stomach) pain caused by spasm of the gut muscles, along with the pain and fever that may come with it.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Stomach cramps and colicky pain
• Pain due to irritable bowel and similar gut spasm conditions
• Mild fever accompanying the stomach pain

HOW IT WORKS

• Dicyclomine relaxes the smooth muscle of the intestine, reducing spasm and cramping
• Paracetamol acts on the brain's pain and temperature control centres to relieve pain and lower fever
• Together they ease both the muscle spasm and the discomfort/fever linked to it

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for infections, food poisoning, or severe diarrhoea as a standalone treatment
• Not a treatment for ulcers, gallstones, or appendicitis pain
• Not meant for long-term daily pain relief without medical supervision
• Not suitable for chest pain or headache unrelated to gut spasm

How to Use Dicyclomine 20mg + Paracetamol 500mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow tablets with a glass of water; do not chew or crush unless advised
• If using syrup, use the measuring cup provided for accurate dosing
• Do not take more than the prescribed amount or for longer than advised
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE
