WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Treating raised eye pressure due to open-angle glaucoma
- Treating ocular hypertension
- Used alone or along with other eye pressure lowering drops
HOW IT WORKS
- Dorzolamide blocks an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase in the eye
- This reduces the amount of fluid (aqueous humour) produced inside the eye
- Lower fluid production leads to lower pressure inside the eye
- Benzalkonium chloride preserves the drop and prevents contamination after opening
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used to treat eye infections
- Not used to treat eye redness or allergy
- Not a painkiller and does not treat eye injury

How to Use Dorzolamide 2% + Benzalkonium 0.0075%
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Use only in the eye(s) as prescribed by your doctor
- Wash your hands before using the drop
- Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid and place a drop inside
- Do not touch the dropper tip to your eye or any surface
- Close your eyes gently for a minute after applying
- If using other eye drops, wait at least 5-10 minutes between different drops
- Do not wear contact lenses while using this medicine unless your doctor allows it
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not apply two doses together to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store as directed on the label, usually below 25°C
- Keep the bottle tightly closed
- Do not use after the bottle has been opened for more than the period mentioned on the label
- Keep out of reach of children
