How to Use Ethionamide 250 mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily or in divided doses
• Take with food to reduce nausea and stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Continue the full course even if you feel better; stopping early can cause the TB bacteria to become resistant
• Take it at the same time each day to help you remember
• Do not stop or change the dose without talking to your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one
