HOW IT WORKS

How to Use Halometasone 0.05% W/W
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area as directed by your doctor
- Use only the amount and frequency prescribed, usually once or twice a day
- Wash and dry hands before and after application, unless the hands are being treated
- Do not cover the treated area with an airtight bandage unless your doctor instructs you to
- Do not use on the face, groin or underarms unless specifically advised
- Do not use for longer than the prescribed duration
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Apply it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule
- Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Keep the tube tightly closed
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

- Signs of adrenal suppression such as unusual tiredness, weight changes when used over large areas for long periods
- Worsening of the original skin condition

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to halometasone or other corticosteroids
- Have a skin infection (bacterial, fungal or viral) at the site that is untreated
- Have acne, rosacea or perioral dermatitis on the area to be treated
- Are advised against it by your doctor for any other reason
TELL YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING IF YOU
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Plan to use it on large areas of the body or for a long duration
- Are using it on children, as their skin is more sensitive
- Have thin or damaged skin, or any chronic skin disorder
