This combination cream is mainly used to treat melasma and other forms of skin darkening (hyperpigmentation) on the face.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

  • Treating melasma (dark, patchy discolouration on the face)

HOW IT WORKS

  • Hydroquinone reduces the production of melanin, the pigment that causes dark patches

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

How to Use Hydroquinone (2% W/W) + Mometasone (0.1% W/W) + Tretinoin (0.025% W/W)

HOW TO TAKE IT

  • For external use on the skin only; do not swallow
  • Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed, usually once daily at night
  • Wash and pat dry the skin before application
  • Avoid contact with eyes, lips, nostrils and mucous membranes
  • Wash hands after applying
  • Use sunscreen and avoid sun exposure while using this cream, as advised by your doctor
  • Do not use more than the prescribed amount or for longer than advised

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

  • Apply as soon as you remember, but skip it if it is almost time for the next application
  • Do not apply extra cream to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

  • Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
  • Keep the tube tightly closed
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

  • Signs of allergic reaction such as swelling of face, lips or difficulty breathing
  • Thinning of skin, stretch marks or visible blood vessels with prolonged use
  • Unusual skin colour changes such as blue-black darkening (ochronosis)
