HOW IT WORKS

  • Hydroquinone reduces the formation of melanin, the pigment that causes dark patches
  • Tretinoin increases skin cell turnover, helping lighten pigmented areas and improve penetration of hydroquinone
  • Fluocinolone, a mild steroid, reduces irritation caused by the other two ingredients

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

  • Not used for acne, though tretinoin alone is used for acne
  • Not used for general skin whitening or cosmetic lightening of normal skin
  • Not used for treating pigmentation caused by other medical conditions without doctor advice
  • Not used on broken, infected or sunburnt skin
