Itopride is used to treat functional dyspepsia, a condition causing chronic indigestion-like symptoms without a clear structural cause.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of bloating and fullness after eating
• Relief of nausea and vomiting linked to slow stomach emptying
• Relief of loss of appetite caused by indigestion
• Management of functional (non-ulcer) dyspepsia

HOW IT WORKS

• It increases the release of acetylcholine, a chemical that helps stomach muscles contract

How to Use Itopride (50mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken before meals, as advised
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
• Do not crush or chew unless your doctor or pharmacist says it is fine to do so
• Continue for the full duration advised, even if you start feeling better

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember, before your next meal
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
• If you miss doses often, set a reminder or ask your pharmacist for tips

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
