WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch
• Skin infections associated with dandruff caused by fungus
• Fungal infections where there is also risk of bacterial contamination
• Cleansing and treating infected skin folds or moist areas

HOW IT WORKS

• Ketoconazole stops the growth of fungus by damaging its cell membrane
• Cetrimide acts as an antiseptic that reduces bacteria and cleans the skin surface
• Together they treat the fungal infection and lower the chance of additional bacterial infection

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Viral skin infections such as warts or herpes
• Non-infective skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis unless advised by a doctor
• Internal or systemic fungal infections
• Long-term prevention of skin infections without doctor's advice

How to Use Ketoconazole + Cetrimide

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only on the skin as advised by your doctor
• Clean and dry the affected area before applying
• Apply a thin layer over the affected skin and gently rub in
• Wash your hands after application unless the hands are being treated
• Use regularly for the full duration advised, even if symptoms improve early
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Keep out of reach of children
