HOW IT WORKS

• Blocks enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) that produce prostaglandins

• By reducing their production, it relieves pain and swelling

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for long-term or chronic pain management
• Not used for mild pain like a common headache
• Not a treatment for infections

How to Use Ketorolac

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually for the shortest duration possible
• Tablets are usually taken with food or milk to reduce stomach upset
• Injection form is given by a healthcare professional only
• Eye drops should be used only in the affected eye(s) as directed

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
