WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Bacterial infections of the eye
• Eye pain, redness and swelling after cataract or other eye surgery
• Inflammation of the eye due to infection or injury
• Prevention of infection during the post-operative period

HOW IT WORKS

• Ketorolac reduces pain, swelling and inflammation by blocking certain chemicals (prostaglandins) in the eye
• Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that kills or stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection
• Benzalkonium chloride acts as a preservative and also has mild antimicrobial action, helping keep the solution sterile

How to Use Ketorolac + Gatifloxacin + Benzalkonium

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only in the eye as directed by your doctor
• Wash your hands before applying the drops
• Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid gently, and place the prescribed number of drops into the pocket formed
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye, fingers, or any surface
• Close your eyes gently for a minute after applying to help the medicine spread evenly
• If you use other eye drops, wait at least 5 to 10 minutes between different medicines
• Do not rub your eyes after applying the drops

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not apply double drops to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight and heat
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Discard the bottle after the recommended period of opening, usually about four weeks, or as advised by your pharmacist
• Keep out of reach of children
