WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, such as bronchitis and pneumonia
• Infections where cough with thick phlegm is a major symptom
• Sinus infections and certain other respiratory infections as advised by your doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• Levofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by stopping them from multiplying
• Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough out
• Together they help clear infection and improve breathing comfort

How to Use Levofloxacin (500mg) + Ambroxol (75mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
• Can be taken with or without food, but take it the same way each time
• Do not take with dairy products, antacids, or iron/mineral supplements at the same time; leave a gap of a few hours
• Complete the full course even if you feel better, unless your doctor tells you otherwise
• Drink plenty of fluids while on this medicine

• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

• Yellowing of skin or eyes suggesting liver problems
• Seizures or severe mood changes
