WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treating active mild to moderate ulcerative colitis
• Maintaining remission (preventing flare-ups) of ulcerative colitis
• Sometimes used to manage certain cases of Crohn's disease affecting the colon, as advised by a doctor

HOW IT WORKS

• It reduces inflammation directly in the lining of the large intestine
• It blocks certain chemical messengers in the gut that cause swelling, pain, and irritation

How to Use Mesalazine 1g

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food
