How to Use Metoprolol 12.5mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily
• Swallow the tablet with water, with or after food to reduce stomach upset
• Take it at the same time(s) each day to maintain steady levels in the body
• Do not crush or chew unless your doctor or pharmacist says it is safe to do so
• Do not stop taking it suddenly, even if you feel well, as this can be dangerous for the heart

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
