WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Treatment of acne vulgaris caused by bacteria
• Treatment of other bacterial skin infections such as folliculitis
• Skin infections where a fluoroquinolone antibiotic cream is suitable

HOW IT WORKS

• It is a topical antibiotic that stops bacteria from multiplying on the skin
• It works by blocking an enzyme bacteria need to copy their genetic material
• Reduces the number of bacteria causing pimples and inflammation on the skin

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for viral or fungal skin infections
• Not used for internal infections or infections in other parts of the body
• Not a substitute for oral antibiotics in severe infections
• Not meant for eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes

How to Use Nadifloxacin 1%

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only on the skin, as advised by your doctor
• Wash and dry the affected area before applying
• Apply a thin layer over the affected skin, usually once or twice a day as prescribed
• Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the treated area
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose, and open wounds
• Do not cover the area with airtight bandages unless your doctor tells you to
• Continue using for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if skin looks better

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra or double amount to make up for a missed dose

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight
• Keep the cap tightly closed after use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

• Mild rash around the applied area

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Severe redness, swelling, or blistering of skin
• Signs of allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, swelling of face or lips
• Severe itching or hives spreading beyond the applied area
• Any signs of skin infection worsening despite treatment
