WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

  • Treatment of acute urinary tract infections (UTIs) such as cystitis

  • It is broken down inside bacteria into active substances

HOW TO TAKE IT

  • Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food or milk to reduce stomach upset
  • Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush unless advised
  • Complete the full course even if you feel better before finishing it
  • Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine
  • Do not take antacids containing magnesium trisilicate at the same time as this medicine

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

  • Take it as soon as you remember
  • If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your normal schedule
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

  • Store at room temperature, away from direct heat, light and moisture
  • Keep in the original container, tightly closed
  • Keep out of reach and sight of children

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
