WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Long-term control of high blood pressure
- Used when blood pressure is not controlled by a single blood pressure medicine

HOW IT WORKS
- Olmesartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking a hormone called angiotensin II

How to Use Olmesartan 20mg + Amlodipine 5mg + Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew
- Can be taken with or without food, at the same time each day
- Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well; blood pressure control needs continuous treatment
- Do not stop suddenly without talking to your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember on the same day
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep in the original pack until it is time to take the tablet
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Tiredness or weakness

- Severe diarrhoea with weight loss (rare bowel disorder linked to Olmesartan)
- Yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine (possible liver problem)
- Very low urine output or swelling suggesting kidney problems
- Irregular heartbeat, severe muscle weakness or cramps (signs of electrolyte imbalance)

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are pregnant or planning pregnancy
- Are breastfeeding
- Are allergic to Olmesartan, Amlodipine, Hydrochlorothiazide, or other sulfa-based medicines
- Have severe kidney or liver disease
- Have difficulty passing urine (severe blockage)
- Are diabetic and taking a medicine called aliskiren

- Have had bowel problems or unexplained diarrhoea in the past

- NSAID painkillers like ibuprofen or diclofenac used regularly
