WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Relief of itching, redness, and watering of eyes due to allergic conjunctivitis
• Relief of sneezing, runny nose, and nasal itching due to allergic rhinitis
• Management of seasonal or year-round allergy symptoms

HOW IT WORKS

• It blocks histamine, a chemical released by the body during an allergic reaction
• By blocking histamine, it reduces itching, swelling, and redness
• It also helps stabilise mast cells, reducing further release of allergy-causing chemicals

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not used to treat bacterial or viral eye or nose infections
• It is not a painkiller and does not treat eye pain unrelated to allergy
• It is not used for asthma or other breathing conditions
• It should not be used as a substitute for prescribed treatment of glaucoma or other eye diseases

How to Use Olopatadine 1mg.

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor, in the form given (eye drops, nasal spray, or tablet)
• For eye drops, wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye
• For nasal spray, clear your nose gently before use and follow the device instructions
• Do not wear contact lenses immediately after using eye drops unless your doctor allows it
• Do not increase the dose or frequency without medical advice

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the cap tightly closed after use
