This combination medicine is mainly used to treat pain along with inflammation and fever, particularly menstrual cramps, body pain, headache, toothache and mild fever associated with pain.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
• Headache and migraine-related pain
• Body ache, muscle pain and joint pain
• Toothache and post-dental pain
• Fever with associated pain

HOW IT WORKS

• Paracetamol acts on the brain's temperature and pain centres to reduce fever and mild pain
• Mefenamic Acid blocks enzymes called COX that produce prostaglandins, chemicals responsible for pain, swelling and inflammation
• Together they give faster and more complete relief than either medicine alone

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for long-term or chronic pain management without medical supervision
• Not a treatment for the underlying cause of pain, such as infections or structural problems
• Not used to treat high blood pressure, diabetes or heart conditions
• Not recommended for children unless specifically prescribed

How to Use Paracetamol 250mg + Mefenamic Acid 100mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose or frequency
• Avoid taking with alcohol
• Do not use for more than the prescribed number of days without consulting your doctor

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children

• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
• Swelling of face, lips, throat or difficulty breathing (allergic reaction)
• Unusual bleeding or bruising
• Reduced urine output or swelling of feet
• Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Have a known allergy to Paracetamol, Mefenamic Acid or NSAIDs
