HOW IT WORKS
- Permethrin acts on the nerve cell membranes of mites and lice, disrupting their nervous system
- This paralyses and kills the parasites and their eggs

- Not used for fungal skin infections
- Not used for bacterial skin infections
- Not a treatment for general itching or eczema not caused by mites or lice

How to Use Permethrin (5% W/W)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- For external use only, apply to clean, dry skin as directed by your doctor
- Usually applied over the entire body from the neck downward, including between fingers, toes, and skin folds
- Left on the skin for the duration advised by the doctor, then washed off thoroughly
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
- Wash hands immediately after application unless hands are also being treated
- Do not apply to broken, infected or irritated skin unless told to do so by your doctor
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Since this is usually a one-time or short-course treatment, apply as soon as you remember and follow your doctor's instructions
- Do not apply extra amounts to make up for a missed application
