WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Controlling high blood sugar in type 2 diabetes
• Used along with diet and exercise

HOW IT WORKS

• Remogliflozin blocks a kidney protein (SGLT2) that reabsorbs sugar, causing extra sugar to pass out in urine

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or without food
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Try to take it at the same time(s) each day for consistent blood sugar control
• Continue to follow your prescribed diet and exercise plan
• Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor, even if you feel well

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as usual
• Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Urinary tract infection
• Increased urination

LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Low blood sugar (especially with other diabetes medicines)
• Skin rash

• Signs of severe low blood sugar (sweating, shakiness, confusion, fainting)

• Yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine (liver problem)

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
