WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Reducing swelling after surgery or injury
• Relieving pain caused by inflammation
• Managing swelling from sinusitis, ear infections, or dental infections
• Supporting faster wound healing after operations
• Reducing breast engorgement swelling in some cases

HOW IT WORKS

• It is a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down inflammatory proteins
• This helps thin out fluid build-up at the site of injury or infection
• Reduced fluid and protein build-up leads to less swelling and pain
• It also helps clear mucus in some respiratory conditions

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a painkiller on its own and does not treat the underlying infection

How to Use Serratiopeptidase (5mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Usually taken on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew, especially if it is enteric-coated
• Do not increase the dose or continue longer than advised by your doctor
• Continue taking it for the full duration prescribed, even if swelling improves earlier

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not take double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
• Keep in the original container until it is time to take it
