WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Minor cuts, abrasions and burns
• Diabetic foot ulcers and pressure sores
• Post-surgical wound care
• Infected or slow-healing skin wounds
• General wound dressing support

HOW IT WORKS

• Releases silver ions slowly onto the wound surface
• Silver ions disrupt the cell wall and function of bacteria and other microbes
• Helps reduce microbial load and supports a cleaner wound environment
• Creates a moist environment that may support natural healing

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not used for internal infections or systemic illness
• Not a substitute for oral or injectable antibiotics in serious infections

How to Use Silver Nano Particles 0.002% W/W

HOW TO TAKE IT

• For external use only, as prescribed by your doctor
• Clean the wound or affected area gently before application
• Apply a thin, even layer over the wound or use as directed dressing
• Cover with a sterile dressing if advised by your doctor
• Wash hands before and after application
• Do not apply on eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes unless specifically instructed

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Apply as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next application, skip the missed one
• Do not apply extra amount to make up for a missed application
• Continue with your regular dressing schedule as advised

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the container tightly closed when not in use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Mild burning or stinging at the application site
• Temporary skin discolouration (greyish tinge)
• Dryness or mild irritation around the wound

LESS COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Itching or redness spreading beyond the wound area
• Delayed wound healing in some cases
• Local skin sensitivity

SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS — STOP AND SEE A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY

• Signs of allergic reaction such as swelling, rash, or difficulty breathing
• Severe pain, pus, or worsening infection at the site
• Blue-grey discolouration of skin spreading widely (argyria-like changes)
• Fever or signs of spreading infection
