WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Difficulty in starting urination
- Weak or interrupted urine flow
- Frequent urge to urinate, especially at night
- Feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder
- Sometimes used to help pass small kidney stones (as advised by doctor)
HOW IT WORKS
- Blocks alpha-1 receptors present in the prostate and bladder neck muscles
- Relaxes these muscles, reducing resistance to urine flow
- Improves ease and completeness of urination without shrinking the prostate
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used to treat urinary tract infections
- Not used to treat high blood pressure, even though it lowers blood pressure slightly

How to Use Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.2mg
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily

- Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if symptoms improve
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
