WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

  • Managing open-angle glaucoma
  • Used when a single eye pressure-lowering drop is not enough

HOW IT WORKS

  • Timolol reduces the amount of fluid produced inside the eye
  • Pilocarpine helps fluid drain out of the eye more easily by constricting the pupil
  • Benzalkonium chloride is a preservative that keeps the eye drop free from contamination

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

  • Not used for common eye infections or redness
  • Not used for dry eyes
  • Not used for cataract
  • Not a treatment for eye injuries

This medicine should only be used under the supervision of an eye specialist, as glaucoma treatment needs regular monitoring of eye pressure.
