WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Treating high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Reducing risk of heart attack, stroke, or death in people with heart disease or high cardiovascular risk who cannot take ACE inhibitors
- Sometimes used to protect kidneys in people with diabetes, under medical supervision
HOW IT WORKS
- It blocks the action of a natural chemical called angiotensin II

HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day

- Do not stop taking it suddenly even if you feel well, unless your doctor advises
