How to Use Zonisamide 100mg

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day
• Can be taken with or without food, but taking it at the same time each day helps
• Swallow the tablet/capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not stop suddenly, as this may trigger seizures; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually if needed
• Keep taking it regularly even if you feel well

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
