This medicine is mainly used to relieve pain and reduce fever in adults and children as advised by a doctor.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Headache and migraine pain
- Body ache and muscle pain
- Toothache and dental pain
- Fever due to infections
- Menstrual cramps
- Pain after minor injuries or surgery
HOW IT WORKS
- Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation by blocking certain chemicals in the body called prostaglandins
- Paracetamol works on the brain's pain and temperature control centres to relieve pain and bring down fever
- Together they give faster and more effective relief than using either medicine alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for chronic long-term pain without medical supervision
- Not a treatment for the underlying cause of infection, such as bacterial or viral illness
- Not suitable for preventing heart disease or blood clots
- Not meant for regular daily use without doctor's advice

- Black or bloody stools, or vomiting blood
- Severe stomach pain
- Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
- Difficulty breathing, swelling of face, lips or throat
- Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling
- Unusual bleeding or bruising
- Very little or no urination
- Chest pain or irregular heartbeat

How to Use IBUGESIC PLUS SYRUP (Ibuprofen 100mg + Paracetamol 162.5mg)
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually after food to reduce stomach upset
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water; do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not take more than the prescribed dose or for longer than advised
- Avoid taking on an empty stomach
- Do not take with other paracetamol- or ibuprofen-containing products unless your doctor says it is safe
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep in the original packaging until use
- Keep out of reach and sight of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
- Are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol, or other NSAIDs
- Have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding

- Have had an asthma attack, hives or allergic reaction after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs
