WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Acute gout attacks
• Pain and swelling after certain musculoskeletal injuries

HOW IT WORKS

• It blocks enzymes called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) that produce prostaglandins
• Prostaglandins cause pain, swelling, and fever
• By reducing prostaglandin production, it lowers inflammation and eases pain

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• It is not a cure for arthritis; it only controls symptoms
• It is not meant for routine headaches or minor everyday pain

• Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)
• Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling
• Sudden decrease in urine output or swelling of face/legs
• Signs of allergic reaction like facial swelling, difficulty breathing

How to Use INDOCAP-SR CAPSULE (INDOMETHACIN 75MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food or milk to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the capsule/tablet whole; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Do not increase the dose or take it more often than prescribed
• Avoid lying down immediately after taking it
• Do not take with alcohol as it increases stomach irritation risk

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
