How to Use AWIQLI FLEXTOUCH PEN 1ML (INSULIN ICODEC 700 UNITS/ML)
Use only as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Inject subcutaneously once every week on the same day each week.
Injection sites include:
Abdomen
Thigh
Upper arm
Rotate injection sites to reduce the risk of lipodystrophy.
Do not inject into a vein or muscle.
Never share your FlexTouch pen with another person.
Continue regular blood glucose monitoring while using this medicine
Safety Information and Precautions for AWIQLI FLEXTOUCH PEN 1ML (INSULIN ICODEC 700 UNITS/ML)
- Prescription medicine only.
- Do not use during episodes of hypoglycemia.
- Do not use if allergic to Insulin Icodec or any component of the formulation.
- Dose adjustments may be required in patients with kidney or liver disease.
- Monitor blood glucose regularly.
- Inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking, especially other diabetes medicines.
- Alcohol may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
- Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical supervision.
- Store unopened pens in a refrigerator (2°C–8°C). Do not freeze.
- Once opened, the pen may be stored refrigerated or at room temperature (below 30°C/86°F) for up to 12 weeks.
