Uses and Benefits of BENFOMET CAPSULE (Benfotiamine 100mg + Mecobalamin 0.5mg + Pyridoxine 50mg)

This combination is mainly used to treat nerve damage (neuropathy) caused by diabetes, vitamin deficiency, alcohol use, or certain other conditions, along with associated pain, tingling and numbness.

WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

• Diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes)
• Vitamin B1, B6 and B12 deficiency
• Nerve pain, tingling, burning and numbness in hands and feet
• General nerve health support in nutritional deficiency states

HOW IT WORKS

• Benfotiamine helps repair and protect nerve tissue and supports energy metabolism
• Mecobalamin helps in nerve cell repair and formation of the protective covering (myelin) around nerves
• Pyridoxine supports normal nerve function and helps in production of neurotransmitters
• Together they help reduce nerve-related pain and improve nerve function over time

How to Use BENFOMET CAPSULE (Benfotiamine 100mg + Mecobalamin 0.5mg + Pyridoxine 50mg)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice a day
• Preferably take after a meal to reduce stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew unless advised
• Take it at the same time each day to help you remember
• Continue for the full duration advised by your doctor, even if symptoms improve

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
• Do not take double doses to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep in the original packaging until ready to use
• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
