Serratiopeptidase (20mg) is mainly used to reduce inflammation, swelling and pain that occur after injury, surgery, or in certain infections and inflammatory conditions.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Swelling and pain after surgery or injury
- Inflammation in ENT conditions like sinusitis and throat infections
- Dental swelling and pain after procedures
- Swelling due to sprains, fractures or soft tissue injuries
- As an add-on with antibiotics or painkillers in some infections
HOW IT WORKS
- It is a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down inflammatory proteins
- This helps reduce fluid build-up and swelling at the site of injury or infection
- Reduced swelling helps ease pain and speeds up recovery
- It may also help other medicines like antibiotics reach the affected tissue better
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- It is not a painkiller on its own and does not replace antibiotics

How to Use BIOSUGANRIL 20MG TABLET (SERRATIOPEPTIDASE (20MG))
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor
- It is usually taken on an empty stomach, at least 30-45 minutes before food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
- Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it as it may be enteric coated
- Do not stop the course early even if swelling reduces, unless your doctor says so
- Do not increase or decrease the dose on your own
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as usual
- Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
- Keep in the original packaging until ready to use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack
