Ibuprofen 200mg is used to treat mild to moderate pain, fever, and inflammation caused by various conditions.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Headache and migraine
- Toothache
- Muscle and joint pain
- Menstrual cramps
- Fever
- Pain and swelling after minor injuries
- Arthritis-related pain and stiffness
HOW IT WORKS
- Blocks enzymes called COX-1 and COX-2 that produce prostaglandins
- Prostaglandins cause pain, swelling, and fever
- By reducing prostaglandins, it lowers pain, inflammation, and body temperature
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not a cure for the underlying disease causing pain or fever
- Not effective for bacterial or viral infections on its own
- Not meant for long-term daily use without medical supervision
- Not suitable for treating stomach ulcers or bleeding disorders
- Not recommended as a first choice in people with heart or kidney disease

- Yellowing of skin or eyes
- Sudden decrease in urine output or swelling of legs
- Severe skin reaction with blistering or peeling

How to Use BRUFEN 200MG TABLET (IBUPROFEN (200MG))
HOW TO TAKE IT
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor or as per the label
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water
- Take with or after food or milk to reduce stomach irritation
- Do not crush or chew unless advised
- Do not take more than the recommended dose or for longer than advised
- Avoid lying down immediately after taking it
IF YOU MISS A DOSE
- Take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one
- If used for fever or pain, a missed dose is usually not a major concern
STORAGE
- Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture
- Keep in the original packaging, away from direct sunlight
- Keep out of reach and sight of children
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
