WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR

HOW IT WORKS

• Budesonide reduces swelling and irritation in the airways, lowering the chance of attacks
• Formoterol relaxes the muscles around the airways, making breathing easier

WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR

• Not for immediate relief of a sudden asthma attack or acute breathlessness

• Signs of allergic reaction such as swelling of face, lips, or throat, and skin rash
• Vision changes or eye pain (possible sign of raised eye pressure)
• Signs of low potassium such as severe weakness or muscle cramps

How to Use BUDAMATE FORTE TC (FORMOTEROL 12MCG + BUDESONIDE 400MCG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Use only by inhalation, through the device provided, as prescribed by your doctor
• Do not swallow the inhaler contents
• Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after each use to prevent throat irritation and thrush
• Use at the same times each day for best results
• Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better
• Do not use more often or in higher amounts than prescribed

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Take it as soon as you remember
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct heat, sunlight, and moisture
• Keep the inhaler cap closed when not in use
• Do not puncture, break, or throw the canister into fire, even when empty
• Keep out of reach of children
• Discard as per the labelled expiry date or after the indicated number of doses

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU
