How to Use CALPOL PAED DROP (PARACETAMOL 100MG)

HOW TO TAKE IT

• Give only as prescribed by the doctor, based on the child's weight and age
• Use the measuring dropper or syringe provided, not a household spoon
• Can be given with or without food
• Do not give more often than advised, as overdose can harm the liver

IF YOU MISS A DOSE

• Give the missed dose as soon as remembered, if it is meant for fever or pain
• If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one
• Do not give a double dose to make up for a missed one

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture
• Keep the bottle tightly closed
• Keep out of reach and sight of children
• Discard any unused medicine after the expiry date or as per label instructions

DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE IF YOU

• Are allergic to paracetamol or any of its ingredients

• Are giving this to a child with poor nutrition or dehydration
• Are already giving other fever or pain medicines to avoid overdose

• Other paracetamol-containing products, due to risk of overdose
• Certain anti-epileptic drugs
• Blood-thinning medicines like warfarin, when used long term
