Uses and Benefits of CARDACE AM 2.5 TABLET (Ramipril 2.5mg + Amlodipine 5mg)
This combination medicine is mainly used to treat high blood pressure in adults who need more than one medicine to control it.
WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS USED FOR
- Controlling high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other heart problems related to high blood pressure
- Used when a single blood pressure medicine is not enough to control levels
HOW IT WORKS

- Amlodipine blocks calcium entry into blood vessel walls, which relaxes the vessels and improves blood flow
- Together, they lower blood pressure more effectively than either medicine alone
WHAT IT IS NOT USED FOR
- Not used for sudden emergency lowering of blood pressure
- Not a painkiller or fever medicine
